George always teases me because he says I'm nice to everyone, even people I don't particularly like.
He's from New York.
I'm definitely a southern girl. We are taught to always be nice.
It's not always easy.
Hugs from the beach,
Kat

I love that quote! I wasn't raised in the south but it fits my way of thinking! :)
OOOOOOH MY! I so needed to read this today. Someone was climbing under my skin like no one's business, a friend's wife, and I was so close to telling her to take a hike but I WAS nice and politely commented that our conversation was just going in circles and it was not going to do either of us good and that I didn't want our conversation to take a sour turn. Better to step back and just be quiet. Then she had to e-mail me with 3 digs!!! Complete and utter non-sense. My head is just finishing the spin-cycle.
Oh yes, being a southern lady I try to be nice to everyone. My husband says I can tell someone off and am so nice about it they don't even realize they were told off! LOL But being nice just makes the world a more pleasant place and I think God smiles down on me too!
That would depend if you are talking pre or post alcohol. Ha Ha! I am mostly a good witch, but I have my occasional bad witch days. Don't we all? How far are you from Zephyr Hills?
I am a good witch. My girls say that I could talk to a brick wall. I have never met a stranger and I love to talk to people. I too, was taught to be nice to everyone. And I am definitely a Southerner. You can tell that by my accent!!! I am very laid back and don't get mad very easily. I am very easy going. Mess with my girls though, and I could become a bad witch!!! Love & blessings from NC!
I had just added that to my quote board on Pinterest today.....I love it...
I am a good witch but not to say that I haven't spoken up a time or two. I think that bad witch would have been replaced with bad *itch instead!
I'm a southern girl, and I try, really I do to be nice. :)
Hope you're having a wonderful day, Kat!
Oh, I LOVE that comment...and yes, my mom taught us to always be polite, especially to our elders. I can be honest and blunt sometimes though, and that isn't always pleasing to some. I loved your post today, and it put a smile on my face.

I never heard that quote before, but it is very, very good. It may be southern, but it is also Christ-like.
Oh, I'm such a southern girl and try to make everybody happy. Plus, I really like most all people. But now in my doddering old age, I'm trying to learn to say no when I need to! :)
I'm good! I am Southern and we are taught to be friendly to others. Example: My Mom taught me to always invite all my classmates to my birthday parties. That way they can make the decision to come or not - and they won't feel that they were left out. It was a good way to learn diversity. My Mom was in an orphanage as a youngster and I'm sure she was left out of lots of little parties, BUT she was the happiest, loving Mom anyone could wish for. God bless all of you! (God Bless Y'all) LOL

I am not a witch of any kind, but the Bible says to pray for your enemies and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you and I think you do that, dear Kat! Southern or not! So tell George to shape up! Hahahaha!
Alan and I were down at the outlets yesterday and let me tell you, you sure can tell who the drivers from New Jersey are without looking at their license plates. I asked Alan why it is that the people from New Jersey are so pushy? He said....."culture......that is how they live." I hope George doesn't drive that way! Hahahahaha! I know, he is from New York. He just parks his car in the middle of the street when there are no parking places and goes into the restaurant. LOL!
I pretty much of a good witch unless someone messes with my husband, my daughters or my grandkids then I can put a spell on the person who did it.......
I can be either, sad but true, but I think mostly good :) I do say what's on my mind though !!!
Cute little story, when my little girl was small she would sit at the top of the stairs in the morning before coming down to the kitchen with her puff on her shoulder, I would see her there and I'd say "are you a good witch or a bad witch" she would narrow her eyes (lol) and say "I'm not a witch at all" needless to say she was not Doris Day first thing in the morning... so funny !!!!
So when I hear that phrase it brings me back to those days....
All the best,
Kathy :)
