I hope your Mother's Day was as beautiful as ours!

I wish I could have spent today with my Mom. She was with me in spirit though. There is almost nothing she would rather do than be on her knees with her hands in the dirt planting flowers. The two of us have planted lots and lots and lots of plants/flowers/shrubs/trees, etc together over the years. Today once we got home from church, I went to Lowe's and filled the back of my SUV with daffodils and daisies and then came home and burned off that HUGE brunch by spending the rest of the day planting them.
Mom...I sure wish you were here with me!
Happy Mother's Day everyone!
Hugs from the beach,
Kat

My day was nice but not as beautiful as yours. It looks great there.
Beautiful - the beach setting and the people!
Yep! That looks just about right! We went down to Ft. Walton yesterday to attend a family wedding on the beach. Beasley park? Do you know that place. We stayed at the Ramada just down from there. It was awful. But, the wedding and the ocean and the sand was all wonderful! We then went to eat at Pandora's close by.
After a B I G breakfast at The Donut Hole, we slowly headed home.
Glad you had such a fun filled day! Blessings!
I can say that my view wasn't as beautiful as yours... but my day was as special.
We all wore our crowns~ Queens for the day :-)
Beautiful pictures....so glad you had a happy day
What a lovely gift you've sent to ME---that gorgeous blue/green water that I miss so much!

Now, I wanna see pics of your new "flours". :)
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us...I love your pictures! Please share pictures of your flowers! Have a great day!
Kat, what great pictures. You and your husband are just the sweetest couple. I'm so glad you had a great Mother's Day. My daughter and I spent the entire day together, lunch at Nordstrom's Bistro, shopping, massages, and more shopping. Then a nice dinner at home with just us three. Couldn't have been better. I hope you will post some of your beauiful flowers soon. I'm sure, they will be beautiful.
God Bless.

Oh Kat! Do you Really live at the Beach? My life's dream! I was raised on the beaches of SoCal and miss it SO much! Arizona is Nothing like the beach!!
Would you mind terribly if I just moved right in with you for awhile, my mind and body could definitely use some Beachy R&R. LOL Cindy
Glad you had such a nice day, Kat. Great photos- you look lovely!! xx
The pictures are just beautiful. It looks like you had a wonderful day.
I was catching up on blogging today and when I got to your beach pictures my little one just squealed with excitement when he saw them. Too funny. I guess he knows that looks much better than the weather we have been having. The beaches are so beautiful is there any good places to look for shells down there?
