NO SNOW HERE

Living in Florida = NO snow. Very little cold weather. And definitely NO snowmen.

Unless you get creative.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We've had so much rain lately...it's been crazy. But the sun was out today and it certainly put some "pep in my step" while I was doing a bit more Christmas shopping. I love living here at the beach, but during the Holidays I sure would like for it to be nippy. And I dream of making a real snowman.
But alas...there's not a snowball's chance in "you-know-where" for that to happen, but I can dream, right?
If you get to make a snowman, think of me, okay?
Merry Christmas y'all!
Hugs,
Kat
Hey Kat...yes, no snow here but I have a daydream of being in a mountain cabin with huge windows looking out at the snow while I sit in front of the fire reading a book! But my husband won't go anywhere that he can't play golf in the winter!
Merry Christmas to you!
We don't get any snow here either but see it around us on the tips of the mountains in the distance. I did get to see some up close when I visited Colorado last week and it sure is pretty to look at. I'm a warm weather girl so just like to visit.
Have a Merry Christmas! COnnie
Great post Kat! Really perked me up, especially Frosty picking his nose. Didn't expect that one. :)
We get snow, but it doesn't stay long in the 'big harsh.' The outlying counties, however, get snow and it stays forever. Still haven't figured that one out. xxoo
No snow in Arkansas but is in forecast for Sunday and Christmas Eve. However, temperatures in the 50s, before those days preclude any accumulation.
But it would be cool to see it on Christmas EVE!
I love that twenty foot tall snowman! Too cute!
I am searching for your slow cooker turkey breast recipe. I know it is on here somewhere!
I'm thrilled I can't make a snowman! Last winter was horrid here but so far, so good this year. No snow and bearable temperatures for the most part. I have an idea, Kat...we good switch homes from November to March!
We made a "sandman" on the beach with our grandbabies a couple of summers ago for our Christmas card! A fun memory.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year...Kathy
No, no snow for us, but also no driving on icy roads, no shoveling snow, no weighted down power lines leading to no power.....I'll take Florida! It is at least cold enough today to wear a long sleeve shirt! :)
That's too cute! We actually did a sand snowman for our Christmas cards one year. It looked so good our German friends and family thought it was actual snow! We had to explain it was the quartz sand that made it look so white!
hugs!
Dear Kat,
I've been catching up with you here tonight... and I am so happy that you and Bree are having these wedding "moments" and I can only imagine how you must feel - head spinning and heart overflowing - what special special times. I know everything will be just beautiful and as perfect as can be.
Merry Christmas dear friend! Thank you for being such a beautiful light in Blogland and beyond!!
