A NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION I CAN KEEP
I'm still rushing around trying to catch up after Christmas. Whew! My head is spinning and my feet and legs are hurting. I couldn't wait to get on my slippers tonight after wearing boots all day. Silly me wore them to my haircut, lunch with a friend and then for hours while I was running errands. Yikes! What was I thinking! We have two parties tomorrow night and then one on New Year's Day. How about you? I really wanted to find something new to wear, but I didn't have any luck. Pooh!Happy New Year's everyone!
Hugs from the beach!Kat

I had to giggle a little when you said you wore your boots all day. Recently did a post about Hunt Valley showing my boots and shared the fact that I was sorry I wore mine all day too. :)
No New Year's plans for me. I'm staying home and crocheting all night. Too scary to be out in the 'big harsh' at night sometimes.
Wishing you, George and Miss Daisy a safe, healthy and Happy New Year. xxoo
We are staying in and making appetizers and playing Phase 10 and a few other games. I am also watching my college football team play their bowl game tomorrow night.
Have fun at your parties and Happy New Year!!!
Big hugs from Tennessee!
Patty
Just stopping by from Grammy Girlfriends blog to say Hello! Hope you have a great time at your parties and a very Happy New Year!
I have to tell you that when I first read this, I thought you said you wore your slippers all day and I was laughing at the thought of you forgetting to change into shoes.
I bet your feet would have been happy!
Oh that is so funny... I wore boots all day yesterday while I was shopping for new jeans. What was I thinking!?!? HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have a party to go to and I am wearing something sparkly. Nancy from OHIO
Oops! I forgot to tell you... love the new picture! Nice and bright. Nancy from OHIO
Our plans include watching our favorite college football team win their bowl game (Mizzou) and having dinner at our favorite restaurant (The University CLub) then back home to watch the festivities on TV. Happy New Year!
Hi Kat,
This is Patty from Texas. Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and I hope 2010 brings you many blessing!
Hi there... sorry about your sore little feet. That's no fun!
We were supposed to attend some New Year's festivities, but that got cancelled due to snowdrifts around the area that have not thawed. We will just stay in and stay warm. We will cook the required Southern treat of Black-eyed peas (for Luck) with cornbread. I'll whip up some other items and have fun watching OU play Stanford, too. GO SOONERS!
Happy New Year to everyone!

Oh Kat..
how I love sharing your brand of humor..it is so like mine!!
yep..feeling better from the crud..I too (foolishly)wore my boots to the hairdresser..really needed a new cut, then to manicurist..nails and toes were horrendous..then to have my eyes tested and order new glasses.(need that IRS deduction as the news reported last evening that one would no longer be available after 2009)..so by the time I made it home..My feet were screaming to be rescued by fuzzy slippers..
no PARTIES.. I quit that years ago..just a quiet evening at home..listening to music, the Times square countdown.. calling my family at midnite..then off to bed with the furbabies....
Have a wonderful time..and the Happiest of New Years!
warm hugs..laughing smiles..
Loui♥
Have a Happy New Years...We normally play cards with our card couples group on New Years Eve and New Years Day. but two are out of town this year..
So this year we thought we were babysitting, but my daughter just informed me they just wanted to hang with us...so fun with the littles and really laid back...
and keeping my feet up in my slippers..Ha
We are going to movies, and then home..no party for us this year.
Have fun at yours, and Happy New Year Kat!
We're staying home but I'm going to try to get a picture of the fabulous full moon tonight! Happy New Year Kat ♥
No exciting plans for New Year's Eve. I enjoyed just chilling out and having NOTHING to do. We cooked filets out on the grill. My husband pooped out and went to bed before midnight. I watched the ball drop with our little dog, Holly. How exciting is that? Adelaide went to a party with friends. Today, my Mom and I are fixing the traditional New Year's meal together. My Aunt is here visiting from Texas. Love & blessings from NC!
