And we're just getting started.

Been there, done that!! Planning a wedding is hard, but the rewards are so special. Don't get caught up in all the hype. You don't have to have everything that they throw at you to have a beautiful and elegant wedding. I think I told you this in a much earlier comment. Remember that it is Bree's wedding and let her make the decisions. I just nodded my head in agreement to things my daughter wanted. We had a lovely wedding and reception and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!! Love & blessings from NC!

A friend of mine just got married in Captiva. She gave fans to the guests with the bridal party on the front and a beautiful design on the front. Favors for the reception were Harry Love chocolates (is that right?) in the shape of seashells in key lime and orange. Wanted to pass this on to you! I can take a photo of the fan, but the chocolates are long gone!

I so hear you about being tired. I'm trying to get the Spring cleaning done that I couldn't do while I was ill. I find I'm still not all better yet. The warm one day and cold the next isn't helping either. Have fun with the planning, you know you love it. :) xxoo

It sure is! Our family wedding is in 4 weeks. I was so tired yesterday I didn't even go to church - never left the couch all day! But it is a rewarding, fun kind of work. Enjoy every minute, Kat!

I'm sure you and Bree together are going to pull off one of the most beautiful weddings ever!! You are a woman of great taste, and I'm sure you've passed that right along to her. =)

I am sure missing the regular photos of you and all your goings-on. I wanna see more of that gorgeous 'do!!

But I know you all are enjoying every minute of it.
I just attended a small simple wedding Sat. afternoon and so much work and planning went into even that small ceremony!

Hi Kat,

I am Joan's sister (Joan's Journeys). Guess you could call me one of your lurkers - I read your blog and enjoy it but have never left a comment. Anyway, really just wanted to say thanks for being so nice to Joan - she really appreciates your kindness!!

Have fun planning the wedding!

Oh and reading your blog makes me want to visit Destin. I think my family may vacation there next summer! Have a great day!

Kat,
Thank you for the sweet comment! I have missed everyone in blogland too! I have made a decision, we only have a few more days of school then I am going to get back on track.
My mother is doing well, thank you so much for asking. She has had a rough go of it.
I am so appreciative of your thoughtfulness and your friendship, you are a true jewel.
:)

I can only imagine...
But I don't have to imagine that the wedding will be BEAUTIFUL with YOUR special, loving touch.

Enjoy the memories in the making!
