Fun afternoon and night. Our friends Jack & Linda and Max & Vickie came over this afternoon and the 6 of us got in a 15 mile bike ride before dinner. For some reason, the ride today was easy. I think I could have gone at least another 5 miles...surprising since I played 3 sets of tennis this morning. We'll see how I feel in the morning though. LOL
Dinner was great too...grilled Italian sausage subs with peppers and onions and marinara, coleslaw, chips and pickles...orange sherbet and chocolate cookies for dessert. We all stuffed ourselves and then sat around and chatted. So nice.
I'm so mad at myself...I had my camera out and never took a photo. Max and Vickie brought their sweet dog, Calle, over and she and Miss Daisy were so cute together. I sure wish I had a photo of that!
No big plans for the weekend, which is just fine with me.

It's my weekend and holiday to work, so that's where I'll be, but after my long vacation I can't complain!
Wow! You really impress me that you ride your bike so much. And the places you go. *Sigh*
I was going to go to the Timonium Fair yesterday, but things started to happen that put that on hold too. Computer problems that made me not feel so well. I AM going today! I will try and take lots of pictures to share though. I've been up and down all night because I'm excited like a child who's going on a vacation. I'll be taking the lightrail, and it will be a long ride, but I can't wait.

I may have commented on this, but I have to tell you, Kat, I really admire all the exercise you and George get into. If I rode 15 miles on a bike, you'd have to call 911. :)
Kat, you are inspiring me to get my bike out and start riding. The only thing is, my biking scenery is not what yours is down in Florida at the beach. I do walk every day and I love that!! Our weather here has just been perfect recently and that moon last night was just gorgeous!!! Chilling out at home this weekend. Going to an icecream party this afternoon. We want to get to the pool some too this weekend, since the pools here close after Labor Day weekend. Trying to get my house back in order too. Enjoy your weekend. Love & blessings from NC!

I wish I had your energy! We are going to our daughter's for a cookout today and watching the first Notre Dame football game of the season. The ND flag was hung out in the front yard this morning. We are huge fans. Tomorrow is our daughter and son-in-laws 1st anniversary. Where did that year go? Hope your weekend is good too.
