Since we moved into our new home almost a year and a half ago, I've saved this hallway for family photos and now my dream has come true, thanks to our wonderful kids!
I love them! I spent ALL night just looking at them and thanking God for my family!

We're so excited...Bree (aka "B Bear" to us) arrives tomorrow afternoon! Can't wait!
(the hall wall color looks kinda funky in these photos since I took them at night...I think the truest color is shown in the hall photo where you see the build-in bookshelves)

That really is a stunning display. Good job, Kat! I love all the views you gave us. Sometime you should draw us a floor plan of your house. I'm trying to imagine where that hallway is compared to all the pictures we've seen of the kitchen, foyer, living room, dining room, etc. I'm not nosy or anything, ha, ha!!
Kat, they look great! I love to see pictures like that on a wall. Perfect place for them.
And I love your floor! You have the prettiest house!
Love the way it turned out. Sometimes a good thing is worth the wait.
They look GREAT!
Smiles!
They look wonderful! A very artful arrangement, and I love the idea of black and white photos.
Your family is beautiful! I love the idea of black and white photos. You arranged the pictures perfectly. Bree's room is the color of my room. I love that color. Very relaxing. I hope you all have a great visit with Bree and your mom and aunt!! :o)
They look great! You've inspired me to get going on my pictures!
I love the way you've hung them on the way. It looks great!
The pictures look great!!!
Hi Kat,
I love the black and white photos in the black frames. They really look great! Have fun with your daughter.
They look lovely! How did Jan get them that big? I can print out pictures but not that big! Do doubt Jan is a professional and has a dark room. (Do they even have dark rooms any more?!?!)
Looks great...just the way I had envisoned with the family photo in the center...thanks for taking a pic for me to see them all hung !
Jan:)
Note to cherdecor: Yes, I am a professional and they were all printed at my pro lab...no darkrooms around here anymore...digital all the way :)
The arrangement looks great and your DIL did a great job with the pictures. I'm thinking I need some B/W of my girls. Might have to "borrow" your display ideas!
The arrangement of family photos looks fabulous, Kat! I LOVE family photos...have tons of them in my home. Yours looks so neat and crisp in the hallway. Such a labor of love!
You did great kid! I love looking at our family photos often. I'm very sentimental! I love the color of your hall. It's very warm and inviting! Is it a honey wheat or something similar?
I adore the picture wall. You can look at the pictures and feel the love for each one and recall special times with each family member.....Blessings
They look wonderful Kat!
They look awesome and I want to know how you got them so straight. I suck at hanging pics.
The pictures look great and you have a fabulous place for them...how great is that??

beautiful pictures! I have a bunch of pictures hanging up in our library, and I love to sit in there and read, occasionally getting distracted by the pictures. My kids still live and home, and I love it; I can't imagine how much you love looking at them!
Kat - I love your family photo wall. I saw something similar in a Pottery Barn catalog and filed it away in the back of my mind....when I get my hallway repainted that's what I'm planning on doing. I'm thinking of using sepia tinted photos.
So glad your sweet Bree is home and you are having some good family time.

Good morning, Kat..I was just browsing your blog to learn a little about you and came across this wonderful wall. I, too, have a wall of family...ok...3 walls...I have an L shaped hallway.
With 2 children and 10 grandchildren, needless to say my walls are full. My very next project (may start today) is to take down some of the older ones and just add the newer ones. Well..there may be a FEW older ones that I can't part with..well, a lot. OK, maybe I'll just rearrange and dust and .....KEEP THEM ALL UP ON THOSE WALLS. Like you, I smile everytime I walk down the hallway...aren't we so blessed!!
