A SUPER 2008 SUPER BOWL!

How sweet it is !
Quarterback Eli Manning of the New York Giants holds the Vince Lombardi Trophy after defeating the New England Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII.
WAY TO GO GIANTS! YIPPEE!

"Eli Manning...He's our man! If he can't do it, nobody can!" And he did!!!!!

We had people everywhere.
Even out on the lanai

We made guesses
We had fun!!!!!!!!!! Lots and lots of fun!

We had lots of food............

Good Golly Miss Molly, there was food....

We had two crockpots of taco soup with toppings of sour cream, sliced avocadas, cheese and served with crackers or chips.

We had drinks........
We had desserts - brownies, peach cake, mango keylime pie, and fresh fruit with a yogurt dip!!!

WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So tired tonight. George and I played 3 sets of mixed doubles tennis after church and hurried home in time to shower and get things ready for the party. We won all three sets!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm calling my doctor tomorrow...the digital cyst on my finger was looking better I thought, but now it looks exactly like it did the day she treated it and it's still pretty painful. I'm praying she will try to freeze it one more time and that no surgery will be needed.

Night Night!

Kat,

What a party!

We had to gatherings to attend, but I confess I didn't watch much of the game. Too much fun talking and eating!

Looks like a wonderful party. Just seeing the food makes me hungry this morning.

I hope too that you won't need the surgery on your finger. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

A couple of days later, could you post a link to the sell sheet for the condo? As I look at my window in snowy Denver, a condo at the beach is sounding pretty good right now, especially with those great views of the beach. Is it summer yet?

Love your gamling score board-fun

Yes and congrats to Eli, but what I like was how proud his older brother Payton was of him, cheering him- very classy!

Hope your finger is ok

Just visiting your blog for the first time. Looks like a really great party!! It appears that you had fans for both teams at your party.

The SuperBowl is an important event at our house - but we were rooting for the Patriots.
