GUESS WHO CAME TO DINNER

Yep, "Elvis" was in the building. LOL

Tonight we went to the nearby retirement home where our friend Jeanette's mother lives. They do the nicest things for their residents.
George and I try to go as often as we can to spend some time with Miss Tillie.

Tonight was Casino Night and "Elvis" entertained us all. He really did a good job of making everyone feel special. And the boy could sing!

He actually looked a lot like Elvis in his later years...big belt, pantsuit (and a "pouchy" tummy too)

Our weather lately has been terrible. Today was rainy and then so darn foggy you couldn't see the car in front of you. What's the deal with the weather?! This is supposed to be SUNNY Florida, for Pete's sake!

I've been close to tears all day. Sometimes because something made me sad and other times because I was so happy or touched over something. Have you ever had days like that? A day when tears come quickly?

I started a new Beth Moore bible study this morning. What a wonderful group of women! We're doing the updated edition of Breaking Free. Even at bible study I teared up several times from just the joy of being with good friends and feeling the presence of our Lord among us.

Beth in September during one of our shopping trips to Duh

A BIG reason I've been teary though is because my friend Beth is hospitalized again. Some of you that have visited me for awhile will remember Beth. She's my friend who has MS. What a terrible disease! She has been in Nashville for the last couple of weeks visiting her daughter and grandson. She started feeling bad a few days ago and guessed she was coming out of remission. She tried to get out of the bed and fell to the floor. She can't feel her legs. It's such a scary and sad time. Please keep Beth in your prayers.

Hugs from the beach!
