By the time, I made the bed and did a few chores around the house, including some laundry, it was time to shower and get dressed for yet another luncheon this week :-)
The first luncheon for a ladies fellowship group (to be named later) met today at Cowgirl Kitchen in Seagrove. This was an informal gathering to encourage the woman of our church and community to further grow in our Christian relationships together. We plan to meet once a month. It was a small group today, but we're hoping to grow as the word gets out.
After lunch, I went to the salon for a quick haircut and then an even quicker trip to the grocery store. By the time I got home and changed clothes, Mom and Sherry returned from shopping.
This afternoon, our game of choice was Sequence. Fun, fun, fun, even though I didn't win often.
Tonight, we had our friend, Jack, over for dinner since Linda is out of town. He and George grilled Italian sausages and we had Hogie sandwiches of sausage, peppers and onions covered with marinara sauce. Yum! Sandwiches, chips and pickles...an easy, but yummy dinner.
I'm way behind on my blog reading and commenting, but things will calm down soon! I appreciate all your comments and I miss visiting you, but I'll catch up soon.

How wonderful to fellowship with other Christian women. I hope your group continues to grow. I know you will all be blessed during your time together.
Have a great Friday.
Hugs, Lyndy
You ARE one busy lady! I think it is so sweet that you spend quality time with your mom. I love hearing about the games you play. I saw that you posted about Rummikub and Phase 10! My family loves both of those games. We find that Phase 10 is great for when we have large groups over. Many can play at once, especially if you put two deks together!! Have a blessed weekend.
You are amazing! What a fabulous
time you are having. Thanks for sharing it all, it really is uplifting and your life looks so interesting, fun and varied!
Another fun day for Kat!
I love being busy too.
Have a great Friday.

O.K. I get it ...on your birthday week, you are to plan a party for every day! I like that way of thinking...you could start a new trend.
Glad you're having fun.
Blessings to you all,
Tonja
You certainly have been busy. Love all the luncheons!! Do you think George would come up to Atlanta and make some sausage and pepper hoagies for us???
I think I must have missed your birthday, so Happy Belated Birthday to you!
I've been to Cowgirl Cafe several times - we make it a point to stop there when we visit the beach. Looks like a nice sized group for something just starting up. I never had hushpuppies until I moved to the south, but I do love them now. Also, Rummikub is a favorite at our house. I'm known around our house as the "Rummikub Queen"...I'm hard to beat!
I love playing Sequence! I haven't played in forever. But my sister's coming to visit Sunday so I think I'll dig it out of the closet.
And don't you worry about reading and/or visiting us out here in Blogland - enjoy your company! We'll still be around when your company heads home. I'm just glad you've been able to squeeze in the time to post while you've been so busy. I don't know how I'd handle a day without my Kat News. lol
You never have a dull moment!
It's been years since I played Sequence but I remember it being a lot of fun.
You are truly a social butterfly, Kat!

Happened upon your blog from a comment in Ang Baylis' blog. What a lovely group of ladies! I love my girlfriends and love our fellowship time! Looks like you had a very busy, but fulfilling day.
God Bless You!
What a nice group of young women you have in your church! I hope your group continues to grow!
We bought some games tonight. We bought Dora's Candy Land and Dora's Memory Game. Ha! Ha! (For Wyatt, of course) We might need that Memory game!
What a fabulous group of ladies!
Hope your group continues to grow!
I love the game of Sequence...the boys usually beat me but I still love to play it.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sandy :)
