I never dreamed when we did our family beach portrait that it would bring me such joy. Every single day! I stand in front of the large one hanging over one of our sofas and just thank God and my lucky stars for my family and their love and their health and happiness. Three granddaughters are missing from it though. Two have been born since the portrait was taken a little over three years ago and our step-granddaughter was not able to come that weekend. I really, really want to have another one taken ASAP so that all nine grandchildren will be included. Seems like in the past, every time we'd talk about scheduling another one, another baby was on the way. I don't think we'll have any more babies until Bree is married though. Maybe this fall or next spring we will plan to do another one. Until then, I'll keep enjoying this one.

IT BRINGS ME JOY
