CALIFORNIA PHOTOS GALORE!

A "few" (Ha)  photos taken on our California trip, in no particular order.....

Two great weeks!  The first week it was just the two of us...very nice.  The second week our friends Carolyn and Robert joined us and it was extra special.  Love them!!!

It's good to be home.  I've spent the week catching up on things around here and getting ready to go visit this sweet guy on Tuesday.

 Can you believe it, he's gonna be six months old soon!!

Can't wait to visit YOU so I can see what you've been doing.

I'M BACK!

We arrived home late last night....almost midnight!

I've spent today just enjoying time with my Mom and Aunt Sherry since they have to leave in the morning.  You KNOW we played games!  LOL  It's always always always fun when we're together.  I hate they have to leave, but I understand since they've been here for over two weeks.  What a blessing it is for George and I to know Miss Daisy is being loved on and cared for while we are away!

I've got photos to share from our trip, but first I have lots of things to get done.  My "to do" list seems impossibly long, but I'll start tackling things one thing at a time.

LUCKY ME

34 years ago, I married my sweetheart.

And here's the best part...we are still in love.

We like each other ;-)

We respect each other.

We enjoy spending time together.

We worship together.

We appreciate our past and look forward to our future.

We are blessed with four children (who all have great spouses) and ten grandchildren.

Thank you God for a strong happy marriage.

SO LITTLE TIME...

...and even less energy!

I miss blogging and every day I plan to write a post, show some photos and visit everyone.

But...we're staying so busy that by the time we get back to the condo, all I want to do is shower and crash.

It's absolutely gorgeous here in California and the weather has been unbelievably PERFECT!

We're here by ourselves this week which has really been nice. We're getting in plenty of exercise, finding new places to eat and visit, relaxing by the pool, watching some great tennis at the BNP Paribas Open, shopping, movies, etc.  Our days are FULL, believe me.

Our friends Carolyn and Robert are coming on Saturday to spend next week with us and we're looking forward to showing them why we love Palm Desert and the surrounding area.

I'll share my photos when I get back home.

REMEMBERING....PACKING....CELEBRATING...AND MORE

I've been home a couple of days, but I've been so busy I haven't had time to even think about blogging, but I wanted to do a quick post before I head to bed.

I'm still missing this little guy!
I love the time I get to spend with him.

Tomorrow (Friday) will be the 6th anniversary of the day I had my breast cancer surgery.  I consider it a day to celebrate since that's the day my wonderful Dr. M removed that mean old cancer and I became a SURVIVOR!

Thank you Lord for these six wonderful years!

My Mom and Aunt Sherry arrived this afternoon.  They are our angels.  They come every year to take care of Miss Daisy and the house for the two weeks we are in California.  We are truly blessed.

I love having them here.  You KNOW we will be playing some games tomorrow :-)

Speaking of California....my bag is just about ready.  Can't wait.  We leave early Saturday morning.
