I have a full time job now. I'm working 12 hour days.
Yep, moving.
I wake up early (can't sleep...this morning it was 5:25 AM) and hit the floor running. Actually, I do my exercise first, grab my coffee, get dressed and then I hit the floor running :-)
Our new place is only about 20 minutes away, so we're taking a lot of things in our cars each time we go. In the good old days, George's company took care of our moves. A moving company came and packed us, delivered and unpacked things. Now, it's mostly us :-( We'll leave the heavy things and will get movers to handle those, but in the meantime it's just us.
Things are sure looking sad at the house. You know that look when all the art is off the wall, the accessories and books are mostly gone, and the dust shows up big time? That's how it looks. So sad.
And the new place? It looks.....promising. Things are stacked up and art is leaning against walls.
As soon as I unload my car, I start cleaning something. Yesterday it was fans and plantation shutters. I think today I will finish those and probably move on to wiping out cabinets. I'm using vinegar and water so the condo smells nice. Me...I smell like a salad. A sweaty salad. LOL When I finally make it back to the house, I can't wait to soak in the tub. A few minutes in that warm water and I'm practically falling asleep.
I'm so excited about the move and ready to be settled. I want to chill on the beach instead of just seeing it out the windows I am cleaning. Soon....
Better get the day started!
